DIGITAL LEARNING MODEL BY PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING IN THAILAND AGE 4.0

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were to 1) develop a digital learning model of problem-based learning (PBL) in Thailand age 4.0.; 2) study the result of digital learning on problem-based learning; 3) study the behavior of using digital technology to support learning in Thailand age 4.0. The sampling group was 39 students majoring in Information Technology enrolled in the software project management course. The data of this study were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation and t-test.


           The results of the research were as follows: 1) the digital learning model by PBL has 8 stages: grouping, problem study, problem identification, problem analysis, hypothesis, problem determination. Learn, study, and synthesize to summarize knowledge. Each step has the use of digital technology such as Moodle, Google document, Social media etc.; 2) the results of digital learning management using PBL were divided into 2 parts as follows: 2.1) Learning achievement of the sampling group after using the PBL method was higher than before use with statistical significance at the .05 level.; 2.2) The sampling group was satisfied learning by PBL method in the high level. 3) Behavior and demand for digital technology support learning in Thailand 4.0. There are 5 aspects: 3.1) the learning by using digital technology found that learning from Search engine with the most average. 4.49  3.2) learning tools found that using LMS/CMS was the most mean of 3.42.  3.3) the most popular data format used in learning was the PDF file type. The most average is 4.59  3.4) for the types of websites to learn that the government agencies. The average is 4.67 and 3.5) the most popular device or hardware is the mobile phone/tablet. The average was 4.74.
