Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to study the level of organizational environment, work-life quality, and the perception of work happiness of the employees at Kasikorn Bank Public Company Limited, Ratburana Head Office; and (2) to study the structural equation model on the casual relationship of organizational environment and work-life quality on the perception of work happiness of the employees at Kasikorn Bank Public Company Limited, Ratburana Head Office. This is a quantitative research and it is considered as a survey research. The research sample consisted of 284 employees in the Retail Business and Service Network Division of Kasikorn Bank Public Company Limited, Ratburana Head Office. A questionnaire was employed as a research tool, with 100 % rate of return. The statistics for data analysis were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, and structural equation modeling with the use of the PLS Graph 3.0 program. The results show that (1) the overall rating means of organizational environment, work-life quality, and the perception of work happiness of the employees at Kasikorn Bank Public Company Limited, Ratburana Head Office are at the high level; and (2) results of the analysis on the structural equation model on the casual relationship of organizational environment and work life quality affecting perception of work happiness of the employees show that there is a direct influence of organizational environment on the work-life quality in terms of an adequate compensation, career advancement, and employees’ potential development at the level of 0.520, 0.507, and 0.626 respectively, and work-life quality in terms of an adequate compensation, career advancement, and employees’ potential development has a direct influence on the perception of work happiness at the level of 0.217.
