THE IMPLEMENTATION OF QUALITY COACH IN TEACHER SCHOOL QUALITY PROGRAM

Abstract
This research aimed to synthetic methods of quality coaching practice in Teacher School Quality Program (TSQP). The researcher used a qualitative research method to lessons learn from key informants consisted of the leaders of the coaching team from 14 provinces include experts and project leaders, totally 24 participants with purposive sampling. The tools used in this research were interview and focus group discussion form. The data were examined by using data triangulation from expert, project leader and head coach, and analyzed by content analysis. The results of the study shown that the coach would follow 5Q measure set from Equitable Education Fund that included the school target setting (Q-Goal) to develop teachers and administrators through professional learning community (Q-PLC), the information systems for quality development (Q-info), the development of teaching and learning in the classroom (Q-Classroom) and the collaborative network (Q-Network) with 4 processes include: 1) the flexible learning management, 2) the equality of students’ caregiving, 3) teacher development for long-for-knowledge habit, and 4) the participation of faith building for the community. The coach would have 3 important steps to follow which were 1) pre-operation, 2) during-operation, and 3) post-operation.
