Abstract
ในยุคที่มีการหลอมรวมกันของระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ โทรคมนาคม และสื่อมวลชน ส่งผลให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงมากมายซึ่งกระทบต่อธุรกิจหนังสือพิมพ์ ธุรกิจหนังสือพิมพ์กำลังค้นหารูปแบบทางธุรกิจใหม่ๆ ขณะที่ตัดสินใจก้าวเข้าสู่สภาวะดิจิทัล มีการนำกลยุทธ์เพื่อความอยู่รอดขององค์กรที่หลากหลายมาใช้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการลดต้นทุน หรือการแสวงหามาตรการในการจัดเก็บรายได้ การปรับเนื้อหาให้เน้นท้องถิ่นนิยม การดำเนินการแบบไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร หนังสือพิมพ์ตามสั่ง รวมทั้งการขยายไปยังธุรกิจสื่ออื่นนอกเหนือจากหนังสือพิมพ์ดิจิทัล
In a convergence era, the coming together of computing, telecommunications and media has introduced lots of changes that have a profound impact on newspaper business. The industry is still searching for new workable business models as they go digital. The strategies to survive in a convergence era include both reducing costs, searching for subscription models, going hy-per local newspaper, Philanthrojournalism, or tailor-made journalism as well as expanding to media other than digital newspaper
