Abstract

          The purpose of this research was to study the risk and appropriateness of the proper online gaming behaviors of lower secondary school students. The sample used in this study students are studying at lower secondary school. The data were collected by using a multistage random sampling technique. One-way analysis of variance (t-test) and multiple regression analysis were used. High-risk students should develop as students with less appropriate online gaming behavior. The result revealed that:
          Predictably, the online gaming behavior is decisively important to the online game. Online game literacy, the influence of friends in online gaming and control of online family games. The predictive value significantly forecasts the proper online gaming behavior of lower secondary school students (R2 = 0.21). The at-risk groups of Students needed immediate attention due to reported less of the proper online gaming behaviors. Group of students living alone and group of students with a GPA of 2.50–2.99, it can be suggested that online game literacy, control of online family games should be developed and the attitude toward proper online gaming behaviors.
