A MODEL DEVELOPMENT FOR PROMOTING LONG LIFE EDUCATION ON SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY TOWARDS AGRICULTURE-BASED HIGHLAND COMMUNICATION

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to study the best practice communities, to develop, to analyze the key factors and condition and to present the guideline of a model development for promoting long life education on sufficiency economy towards agriculture-based highland communication. The study applied the qualitative research. The populations were 25 best practice agriculture-based highland communities in the north which passed the criterion of Subcommittee on Sufficiency Economy The samples were 10 best practice agriculture-based highland communities that selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were an interview form, observation form and fielded study form. Data were collected by communities and interviewed the expertise. Analyze the data by the methodological triangulation and inductive analysis. The result of this research found that 1) The best practice communities settled in the highland and difficult to communities. The temperature were suitable to grow plants. The communities were slow life and good relationship. There were plentiful of trees and water for agriculture and the communities
were similar context. 2) The model of promoting based on sufficiency economy consists of context of communities, processes, components, activities, methods, factors and conditions of promoting long life education. 3) The factors of applying long life education promotion model comprised details that personnel, budget, materials, managements, participations and number of members in communities. The conditions comprises details that planning of communities, supporting the budgeting to the relevant sectors. coordination, awareness and important of education management. 4) The guideline to promote long life education should be promote and manage in formal, informal and non-formal education, self-directed learning, role of communities, resources, atmosphere, curriculum, make learning activities continuing, analysis and synthesis of communities intellectual, responsible to management, authentic assignment and provide the environment in communities for learning.
