DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FOR BICYCLE ROUTE FOR TOURIST AT BANGKRACHAO, PRAPADAENG, SAMUT PRAKAN

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to investigate tourists’ satisfaction on bicycle route in Bangkrachao, Prapadaeng, Samut Prakan and to findout ways in developing bicycle route for tourist at Bangkrachao, Prapadaeng, Samut Prakan. Subjects of the study were 400 Thai tourists riding bikes. Instrument used were questionnaire and interview and statistics used were frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation and content analysis. The findingsrevealed that overall tourists’ satisfaction on biking tracks was high and there were no differences in satisfaction for tourists statistically significantat the level of 0.05. There are 7 issues in developing bicycle route. 1. Transportation: there should be cooperation from private and government agencies in developing natural learning routes. 2. Facilities which refers to tourist center. 3. Safety: there should be clear signpost and emergency center. 4. Cleanness of the area: local residents should cooperate in maintaining and keeping the area clean. 5. Sales and services qualities: there should be standards of services for entrepreneurs. 6. Local learning: sustainable tourism should be promoted. 7. Tourist activities: the diverse and different natural resources and local ways of life should be utilized.
