FACTORS AFFECTING ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR ON ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION BEHAVIORS OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT NEAR PUBLIC CANAL:A CASE STUDY OF DIPANGKORNWITTAYAPAT (TAWEEWATTANA) UNDER ROYAL PATRONAGE SCHOOL

Abstract
Positive attitude and behavior were directly impacted environmental conservation. The objectives of this research were studied on factors affecting on environmental conservation attitude and behavior of student in high school, located near canal and suggested for creating environmental conservation consciousness and behavior. The designed questionnaire and interview were used for 400 student who joined Youth justice project of Mahidol university. In addition to Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis, the results were reported that family variable, school variable and community variable were statically a more powerful impacted student’s attitude and behavior. Being a good role model and doing environmental conservation activities of family’s member, educated environmental conservation content in school and supported environmental conservation activities by community influencedon student self-attitude towards environmental conservation and their duty on environmental conservation. Thus, student had monitory behavior in environmental conservation. For guideline of environmental awareness and behavior establishment, it was divided into 1) Family side, it should routinely formulate environmental conservation by linkage with school’s activities. 2) School side, it should cooperate with community and allow student to know the real environmental situation through subject teaching in curriculum. 3) Community side, Local Administrative Organization should acquire staff who work together with school and family in promotion of environmental value.
