A SYNTHESIS OF GRADUATE RESEARCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THAILAND DURING B.E. 2545–2559

Abstract

The purpose of this research was (1) to analyzed research features of graduate level; and (2) to discovered synthetic of graduate level about the relationship between schools and communities during B.E. 2545–2559. The resources used consisted of 240 Theses from 43 Higher Educations in Thailand during B.E. 2545–2559, obtained by Content analysis and synthesis for researched findings. The employed research instrument was a research feature record on the enhanced and finding relationship between school and community’s form. Research findings revealed that (1) The most of produce research of relationship between school and community were Education Administration’s thesis and focusing on Survey Research. Most research content was focusing on Solution to problems and develop of relationships between school and community. (2) A synthesis of research could be classified from 2 principles. (2.1) Creating a direct relationship were bringing the school to the community and bringing the community to the school. (2.2) Creating an indirect relationship were personnel improvements and development of building improvements.
