CAMPAIGN STRATEGIES TO PREVENT CORRUPTION PROBLEMS AMONG YOUTH OF OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION

Abstract
This research aims to propose campaign strategies to prevent corruption problems among youths of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). The research methods comprised the documentary study and the in-depth interviews. The key research informants were (1) youths; (2) creators of media, information and campaign activities; (3) executives of corruption prevention work; and (4) practitioners of corruption prevention work.
The research results revealed that the NACC had used the following campaign strategies for corruption prevention among youths. There were 4 strategies as follows: (1) participatory communication strategy; (2) strategy for using influencers in online media to help in campaigning; (3) message creation strategy for campaigning; and (4) innovation diffusion strategy.
As for the strategic recommendations that the researcher had prepared as a guideline for the anti-corruption work of the NACC, there were a total of 7 strategies as follows: (1) the strategy starting with oneself, not ignoring when seeing corruption; (2) the diverse media strategy for understanding of the youths; (3) the strategy of having attractive contents while speaking of the same language; (4) the strategy of having various activities that appeal to youngsters; (5) the strategy for disseminating accurate, concise, and quick news; (6) the strategy for using religious principles to help in the campaign; and (7) the strategy of creating networks both domestically and internationally.
