การศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้และการอนุรักษ์น้ำของประชาชนทั่วไปที่อาศัยอยู่บริเวณแม่น้ำชี ในเขตจังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด

Abstract

This research was aimed 1) to study the water usage behavior and conservation of the people live in Chee river basin, Roi Et province 2) To find ways and means to conserve the Chee River of the people living in the Chee River Basin. In the province of Roi Et. Sampling to 800 peoples from live in Chee river basin, Roi Et province by Simple random sampling. The tools which were used in questionnaire, Interview and Focus Group. The Statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation and percentage. The results of study were as follows:

1. Most of people who live in Chee river basin, Roi Et province have water usage behavior as a whole average at high level.  When considering each aspects, we found that people consume at maximum level, average at high level; the next 2 aspects are at High level for recreation and agricultural respectively.

2. People who live in Chee river basin, Roi Et province,  the interviewing and brainstorm can summarize such  as : Most of people who live in Chee river basin, Roi Et province have opinions of methods or ways to conserve the Chee river; it should contain an establishment of local campaign for water resources conservation by not throwing any garbage or contaminant into the Chee river, and Government should control industries for waste water discharge and encourage to plant vetiver grass and trees by the Chee river bank to prevent the river bank and air pollution respectively.
