Participation in the Operations of Community Enterprise Group Members in Tha Li District, Loei Province

Abstract

The research on the participation of members of community enterprise groups in Tha Li District, Loei Province is a quantitative research methodology. The objectives are: 1) To study the level of participation in the operations of community enterprise group members in Tha Li District, Loei Province; and 2) To compare the participation of members of community enterprise groups in Tha Li District, Loei Province, classified by product type, group leader type, member education level, and initial registered capital of the group. The Population in this study was 91 community enterprise members, which consisted of basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The inferential statistics were tested by Kruskal-Wallis Test and Mann-Whitney U Test.  The research results found that: 1) The participation in the operations of community enterprise group members was at a high level overall. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average value was participation in benefits, followed by participation in evaluation, participation in planning, and participation in operations, respectively; 2) Members of community enterprise groups in Tha Li District, Loei Province, with different types of group leaders, members’ education levels, and initial registered capital, had different participation in operations at a statistical significance level of .05. Members of community enterprise groups with different product types had no different participation in operations at a statistical significance level of .05.
