Abstract
This is a research paper aimed at analyzing the technique of construction and utilizing of Chinese culture representation via costume appeared in Qipao written by Phongsakorn. The sample in this research selected from purposive sampling which presented Chinese costume and culture by using the concept of the representation created by Stuart Hall and the sign of Roland Barthes.
