A CONFIRMATORY FACTOR ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE INTENTION TO USE MOBILE WALLET
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objectives of this research were (1) to conduct confirmatory factor analysis of factors affecting the intention to use mobile wallet; and (2) to investigate the consistency of the causal
relationship model based on hypotheses and empirical data. The data were collected by using a questionnaire to ask 300 people in Bangkok Metropolis. The data were analyzed using the
Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicated that the confirmatory factor analysis of factors affecting the intention to use mobile wallet is consistent with the empirical data. The intention to use (IU) has been directly and positively influenced by the attitude toward use (AT) most and followed by perceived usefulness (PU). Besides, the attitude toward use (AT) has been directly and positively influenced by the perceived usefulness (PU) most and followed by the perceived ease of use (PE). Hence, attitude toward use (AT) is the only mediator variable that has influence on the intention to use (IU).
