                This research aimed to study 1) the context of local wisdom for indigenous woven fabrics of Nong Bua Village, Phu Luang District, Loei Province and 2) youth-driven process toward learning and expanding local wisdom for indigenous woven fabrics of Nong Bua Village, Phu Luang District, Loei Province. The target population was 18 individuals who were youths, fabric weaving group members, tourism management group, and community developers. The data was obtained from documentary research, interview, focus group conversation, and brainstorming meeting.  Content analysis was used for analyzing the data. The results were as follows. 1) Most local scholars in Nong Bua community were the elderly who gathered up and established a group, and there were 12 group members. The community has been growing local cotton since the past. Until present the community remain growing cotton along the rice fields, and weaving cotton for household use. For the second phase, last 2 – 3 years, the group was supported to develop the patterns of fabrics and cotton weaving techniques for selling for tourists.  Since almost members of Nong Bua cotton weaving group were the elderly, it needed to transfer the wisdom of cotton fabric weaving to children and youths in order to encourage learning for conserve and develop local wisdom of indigenous fabric weaving further. 2) Youth-driven process toward learning and expanding local wisdom consisted of : (1) establishing a platform for learning and exchanging knowledge, (2) creating the activity for learning and developing fabric weaving in community, (3) searching and promoting children and youths who were interested in weaving fabrics, (4) creating the activity for helping, exchanging, and learning, (5) practicing, following up, and evaluating the performance results, (6) exchanging and learning and searching for appropriate guidelines for weaving fabrics, and (7) creating platform for presenting and selling products.
