The analysis of Chinese local curriculum upper secondary level for the southern institution region

Abstract

Curriculum is the important factor for education management, as it involves in the plan to upgrade the education standard systematically and can be the guide line for learners to meet their destination. The objectives of this research article are 1) to analyze the good point and week point of the local institution curriculum in the southern region, and 2) to be the guideline to improve the southern curriculum in the future. 


The research result revealed that the southern curriculum designed for the upper secondary level has compiled systematically and properly in accordance with the curriculum structure. Various activities are designed to enhance the teaching - learning is the outstanding point of this curriculum. The weak points of this curriculum are, all schools in this region in the upper and lower part of the south still not involved in this curriculum compilers. More than that this curriculum should extend to the lower secondary and primary level to reduce the discontinuance of the study, give up the overlap learning content, such as Chinese used to begin at the starting point in every level. This southern curriculum can be adapted to the other education commissions widely to strengthen Chinese in the southern region.
