The Development of a Mobile Application to Promote Educational Quality Assurance Knowledge on the Android Operating System for Phuket Rajabhat University Students

Abstract
The objective of this research were to develop a mobile application to promote educational quality assurance knowledge on the android operating system for Phuket Rajabhat University students so as to attain the efficiency of the 80/80 standard criterion, to compare pre and post quality assurance learning achievement and to compare students’ satisfaction with the mobile application to promote educational quality assurance knowledge on the android operating system with the criteria 3.50.
The research used multi-stage sampling, with the sample consisting of 72 first year students from the Innovation Design Program and Laws Program of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This research was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2014. The mobile application to promote educational quality assurance knowledge, forms to evaluate the quality of mobile application, and a questionnaire on satisfaction with the mobile application were used as research instruments. The statistics for data analysis were mean, standard deviation and t-test.
The research findings were as follows ; 1) The mobile application to promote educational quality assurance knowledge on the Android Operating System attained an efficiency standard of 81.33/81.89. 2) Students achieved significantly higher quality assurance knowledge achievement scores in the post-test compared with the pre-test at the level of .01. 3) The students’ satisfaction with mobile application to promote educational quality assurance knowledge on the android operating system was high and significantly different from the criteria 3.50 at the level of .01
