The effect of academic performance for part-time jobs of undergraduate students: Case study of the full-time students of Thaksin University, Songkhla Campus

Abstract
This research aims to study the behavior of part-time jobs, to study the level of the effect of academic performances, and to analyze the factors that influence the effect of academic performances. Data were collected from undergraduate students of Thaksin University, Songkhla campus of 400 samples. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation and multiple regressions. The study indicated that part-time features of undergraduate students were customer service, the news from relatives/friends, working in everyday during the evening, 2:01 to 4:00 hours per day. The income was 2,001 - 4,000 baht per month and income was the most reason for working. The levels of the effect of academic performances were curriculum and grade had the low effect, personality development and life experiences had the high effect. For the analysis of the factors that influence the effect of academic performances, the result found that the effect of curriculum was grade point average (GPA), resident in dorm / apartment, sell service, customer service, and academic service. The effect of grade was 2nd year, 3rd year, Law faculty, grade point average (GPA), resident in dorm/apartment, sell service, customer service, and working hour. The effect of personality development was Law faculty, income from parent, academic service, and amount of work. The effect of life experiences was income from parent, resident in dorm/apartment, and academic service.
