Abstract

This research was a survey research. The purposes of this research were (1)to study the student performance based on standards of practice related to profession teacher benchmarks for fifth-year students of the Faculty of Education at Rajabhat Phuket University (2) to study the opinions of school administrators, mentor teachers and supervisors under the student performance based on standards of practice related to profession teacher benchmarks for fifth-year students. The study population included of 414 mentor teachers, 10 administrators and10 supervisors. The tools used in this study were In-depth interviews and questionnaires. The quantitative data were analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation.The domain analysis used the qualitative data.The results were as follows: 1) 414of the mentor teachers 295 females (71.30%) and119 males (28.70) ; 210 with teaching experience greater than 10 years (50.70%) ; 143 with 5-10 years of teaching experience (34.50); 168 teaching in a large school (600 – 1,499 students) (40.60) ; 120 teaching in an extra-large school (greater than 1,500 students) (29.00); 267 under the office of the basic education commission :OBEC (64.50) 82 under department of local administration : DOLA (19.80%); and 72 mathematic mentor teachers (17.40%);67 English mentor teachers (16.20%) 2) The performance in profession teacher benchmarks for fifth-year students in the Faculty of Education at Rajabhat Phuket University generally had highest performance level performance. When considering each aspect, it was found that the 9teacher professional standard, collaboration with others in the community, creativity came first, followed by aspect 8 of the teacher professional standard, practicing as a good example to the students and aspect of the teacher professional standard, practicing academic activities for professional teacher development. 3) The opinions of school administrators and supervisors under performance in profession teacher benchmarks for fifth-year students.3.1) The performance in profession teacher benchmarks for fifth-year students of the Faculty of Education Rajabhat University Phuket under learning management can write lesson plans for teaching, choose medias production for teaching, measure and evaluate lesson objectives, improve expertise in content and teaching skills. 3.2) The performance based on teacher professional standard principals in teacher practices in school under fifth-year students of the Faculty of Education Rajabhat University Phuket regarding the students’ development aspect concentrated in teaching, knowledge and ability, to develop individual students with love and caring, students counseling and inspiration. 3.3) The performance based on teacher professional standard principals in teacher practices in school under fifth-year students of the Faculty of Education Rajabhat University Phuket with school personnel practices as good examples to students, maintain human relationship with others, practice generosity and maintain a public mind, always help mentor teachers and others teacher with school activities and assure that the students dress in and orderly manner.
