The development of achievement in comprehension reading skill for Prathomsuksa 5 students by using explanatory tale

Abstract
The research on “The development of achievement in comprehension reading skill for Prathomsuksa 5 students by using explanatory tale” aims to 1) to developed comprehension reading achievement by using explanatory tale for prathomsuksa 5 students and 2) to study the opinions of prathomsuksa 5 students towards reading comprehension by using explanatory tale. The population used in this research was students of Ban Khon Sawan School, Khon Sawan District, Chaiyaphum Province. The instrument used in this study was prathomsuksa 5 students at Ban Khon Sawan School, Khon Sawan District, Chaiyaphum Province, acquired by selective selection. Tools used in the research were learning management plans, reading achievement test before and after learning and questionnaires that have been inspected and found the consistency index. The statistics used in the research were percentage, mean (), standard deviation (S.D), compare the achievement scores before and after studying used t-test is dependent. The results of the research showed that:
1. A comparison of reading comprehension achievement scores by using explanatory tale for prathomsuksa 4 students before and after the teaching and learning by using explanatory tale, it was found that the achievement scores were significantly higher than pre-test achievement scores at the statistical significance level of. 05
2. The results of the study, the opinions of students on learning management about reading comprehension by using explanatory tale for prathomsuksa 4 students was very level of overall agreement ( = 44.33, S.D. = 27.05)
