Model of Vocational Teacher Development on Digital Competencies in Public Vocational Colleges under the Institute of Vocational Education Bangkok

Abstract
The objective of this research was to develop and evaluate the model of vocational teacher development on digital competencies in public vocational colleges under the Institute of Vocational Education Bangkok. The research is mixed method between quantitative research and qualitative research. There were 7 experts in focus group and 13 experts to evaluate and approve the model. The statistic used for assessment are Means and Standard Deviation (S.D.). The result shows that the model for developing on digital competencies of vocational teacher under the official vocational college, Bangkok Vocational Institute.The research process comprises 3 parts and 5 steps. The first part is “input”, that means the first step is skill analysis. The second part is “progressing” consisted of 4 steps; Root Cause Analysis, design and choose the appropriate reinforcement method, reinforce to become success and change, Evaluation. The third part is the product. There are 12 Digital competencies including (1) Knowledge of Digital, (2) Fundamental of Computer, (3) Basic Internet, (4) Basic Computer Security, (5) Word Processor, (6) Spreadsheet usage (7) Presentation management, (8) Application for Online working, (9) Application for working on website, (10) Network Security threats, (11) Digital for Future jobs, (12) Adaptative in Digital Changes. The assessment and approvement reported that the experts consider the contents and The Model for Developing on Digital Competencies of Vocational Teacher under the Official Vocational College, Bangkok Vocational Institute.are the most suitable.
