Southern Thai Language Adjectives in Malaysia : Analysis based on Dependency Relationship

Abstract
This research article aimed to study southern Thai language adjectives in Malaysia according to Lexicase dependency grammar, based on syntactic dependency. The findings from the study revealed that there are 2 types of adjectives in southern Thai language, i.e., descriptive adjectives that are formed from nouns and verbs. They are used to describe nouns and show the meaning in 3 characteristics, such as the meaning of increasing, the meaning of plural, and the meaning of each. The other type of adjectives is proper adjectives which can be divided into 4 kinds as specific, collective, demonstrative, and emphasizing adjectives. In case there are several adjectives appeared, they will be arranged from descriptive adjectives and followed by proper adjectives, respectively.
