CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OF THE IMPACT ON EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY OF REMOTE WORKING DURING EMERGING INFECTIOUS DICEASES PANDEMIC

The objective of this article is to synthesize a conceptual framework on productivity in remote working for employees during the Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) pandemic using the Job Demands – Resources (JD-R) model for the synthesis of relevant theories and research, to develop a comprehensive framework that comprises four key elements: remote working, self-leadership, work-related stress, and remote working satisfaction. These factors are intended to facilitate employee productivity while working remotely during the Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) pandemic.
