THE STUDY ON MUISIC CULTURE OF THE DAI (TAI) IN BANGKOK

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the culture of Dai (Tai) ethnic group in Bangkok. This study used anthropological method as a guideline of study with the aim of studying the culture of Dai (Tai) ethnic groups in Bangkok. The results showed that culture, traditions, and way of life of the Dai (Tai) ethnic group in Bangkok were still well maintained similar to the Dai (Tai) ethnic group in other places. The cultures of Dai are also similar to the traditions and cultures of Thai people such as New Year’s Day traditions Songkran Festival Traditional Lent Day, and Lent Day.
