DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS MANAGEMENT OF MAHACHULALONGKORNRAJAVIDYALAYA UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purposes of this dissertation are fourfold: 1) To study the levels of mission administration for Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), regarding the Four Brahmavihara of executive, and effectiveness of administration of the above University; 2) To compare the opinions of staff and personnel toward mission administration and practices in accordance with the Four Path Brahmavihara of executives and effectiveness of administration for MCU; 3) To analyze factors affecting the effectiveness of MCU and 4) To develop and presentapproaches toward effective education of the University.The population used in this research included 1,364 respondents. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance, and stepwise multiple regression correlation coefficient analysis. It was found from the research findings that: 1) the overall administration, satisfaction with mission administration for MCU regarding the Four Brahmavihara of executives, and effectiveness of administration for MCU were at a high level; 2) executives, staff and personnel’sattitudes towards mission administration for MCU, regarding the Four Brahmavihara and effectiveness of administration for MCU by stakeholders have a difference of .05 level of statistical significance, but there is no difference in practices of the executives on the Four Brahmavihara and effectiveness of administration for MCU; and 3) Among 61 variables, 10 were important variables affecting the effectiveness of administration for MCU. All the 10 variables can be used to explain variance or predict the effectiveness of effectiveness of administration for MCU at 42.70 percent, with .05 level of significance. Five appropriate approaches stood our developing the effectiveness of administration for MCU. They are namely: 1) Development of the capabilities of Administrators and Personnel 2) Quality Assurance 3) Budget Management 4) Organization Culture 5) Network and Connection.
