บทคัดย่อ

คำนิยามของ ความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม หรือ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) มีหลักฐาน ต้นกำเนิดจากการใช้ปรัชญาของโลกตะวันตกเป็นศูนย์กลาง (Western centric CSR) บทความนี้กล่าวถึง การเชื่อมต่อบทความทางวิชาการเพื่อกระตุ้นการอภิปรายด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมในบริบทของ การใช้ปรัชญาของโลกตะวัน ออกเป็นศูนย์ (Eastern centric CSR) ทั้งนี้ได้มีการเปรียบเทียบข้อเหมือน และข้อแตกต่างในด้านความแตกต่าง แรงจูงใจ และคุณลักษณะ นอกจากนี้ยังกล่าวถึงการเปรียบเทียบนำ ความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมไปปฏิบัติทั้งด้านทฤษฎีและปรัชญาว่า มีปัจจัยด้านวัฒนธรรมและความเชื่อหลัก ในส่วนต่าง ๆ ของโลก จากการศึกษาค้นคว้าหลักฐานทางวิชาการของโลกตะวันออกพบว่า วัฒนธรรมขงจื้อ ดั้งเดิมเป็นศูนย์กลางของความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมสมัยใหม่ของโลกตะวันออก ประเทศทางด้านตะวันออก โดยเฉพาะประเทศจีน ไม่จำเป็นต้องทำตามปรัชญาโลกตะวันตก แต่สามารถปรับใช้คุณธรรมจริยธรรม ของรากเง้าวัฒนธรรมและความเชื่อสำหรับความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม
