คำคุณศัพท์ในภาษาถิ่นใต้ประเทศมาเลเซีย : วิเคราะห์ตามแนวคิดความสัมพันธ์แบบพึ่งพา

บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิจัยนี้ศึกษาคำคุณศัพท์ในภาษาถิ่นใต้ประเทศมาเลเซียตามหลักการพึ่งพาของทฤษฎีไวยากรณ์ศัพทการก (Lexicase grammar) โดยพิจารณาจากการทำหน้าที่ในหน่วยพึ่งพาระดับวากยสัมพันธ์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ในภาษาถิ่นใต้มีคำคุณศัพท์ 2 ประเภท ได้แก่ คำคุณศัพท์ประเภทบอกลักษณะ เป็นคำคุณศัพท์ที่แปลงมาจากทั้งคำนามและคำกริยาแล้วทำหน้าที่ขยายคำนาม แสดงความหมายใน 3 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ แสดงความหมายเพิ่มขึ้น แสดงความหมายเป็นพหูพจน์ และแสดงความหมายว่าแต่ละส่วน คำคุณศัพท์ประเภทบอกกำหนด สามารถจำแนกได้เป็น 4 ชนิด ได้แก่ ชนิดเจาะจง รวมกลุ่ม ชี้เฉพาะและบอกเน้น ในกรณีที่มีคำคุณศัพท์หลายคำปรากฏร่วมกันเรียงกัน มักจะเรียงลำดับจากคำคุณศัพท์ประเภทบอกลักษณะแล้วตามด้วยคำคุณศัพท์ประเภทบอกกำหนดเสมอ
