Abstract

The purposes of the research aimed 1) to improve learning activity with inquiry cycle (5E) of electric power for Mathayomsuksa 3 students according to science strand. 2) to compared the Learning achievement in science before and after using the inquiry method according to efficiency criterion of 80/80 and 3) to study students attitude toward the learning activity through the inquiry method (5E) 33 Mathayomsuksa students were selected by simple random sampling. The project instrument consist of the inquiry method (5E), the learning achievement in science test and the student satisfication toward the inquiry method survey with a rating scale of 5 levels. The survey turned out that 1) The efficiency of the inquiry method (5E) for Mathayomsuksa 3 was equal to 82.07/85.83.

2) After using the learning activity through the inquiry method, The achievement in science of Mathayomsuksa 3 students become higher than before with statistical significance at the .05 and 3) The students attitude toward  the inquiry method resulted at 4.26 according to the satisfication survey.
