Abstract
หนังสือเล่มนี้เรื่อง อรรถศาสตร์เบื้องต้น จัดพิมพ์โดยสำนักพิมพ์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จัดพิมพ์เป็นจำนวน 2 ครั้งโดยจัดพิมพ์ครั้งที่ 1 ปี พ.ศ. 2544 และครั้งที่ 2 พ.ศ. 2555 เนื้อหาของหนังสือเล่มนี้ประกอบไปด้วย บทที่1 บทนำ บทที่ 2 แนวคิดเรื่องความหมาย บทที่3 ประเภทต่างๆของความหมาย บทที่4 หน่วยต่างๆของความหมาย บทที่ 5 การศึกษาความหมายตามแนวภาษาศาสตร์ภาคประวัติ และบทที่ 6 การศึกษาเรื่องความหมายตามแนวของนักภาษาศาสตร์ สำหรับบทวิจารณ์
ของหนังสือเล่มนี้ผู้วิจารณ์ได้กำหนดแบ่งการวิจารณ์ออกเป็น 4 ส่วน ประกอบไปด้วยส่วนที่ 1 คุณลักษณะทั่วไปของหนังสือ ส่วนที่ 2 เนื้อหา ส่วนที่ 3 จุดเด่น จุดด้อยและข้อเสนอแนะ
