Factors affecting labor welfare needs in three southern border provinces

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of labor welfare requirements and 2) to study the factors affecting the needs of Labour on labor welfare in the three southern border provinces. The study was quantitative research methods. The samples consistes of 390 labour. The instrument used for data collection was the questionnaire with a confidence level of .909. The results of the first objective study, the level of labor welfare needs, found that there was an overall mean at a high level (=3.82) by the need for economic welfare with the highest mean (
=4.59), followed by security welfare (
=4.52), labor welfare as required by law (
=3.45), health welfare (
=3.37) and development welfare. self and society with the lowest mean (
=3.16). And the second objective factor affecting labor welfare requirements found that the gender, religion, status, place of residences, employment styles, working periods and the various size of the establishments were not difference in the level of demand for labor welfare requirement, while age, education level, salary/wages showed the statistically significant difference in the labor welfare requirement at the statistical significance of .05.
