Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: (1) study the level of organizational citizenship behavior and intention to stay of personnel; and (2) the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and intention to stay of personnel to the Finance Department, Bangkok. The questionnaire was administered to 148 personnel in the Finance Department, Bangkok. The statistics used for analyzing the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient. The research findings were as follows: (1) personnel in the Finance Department, Bangkok had a high level of organizational citizenship behavior and intention to stay overall; and (2) the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and intention to stay of personnel to the Finance Department, Bangkok revealed that the organizational citizenship behavior was correlated with intention to stay of personnel, at a statistically significant level of 0.01.
