Quality of Working Life of Employees of Sub-district Nai Khlong Bang Pla Kot, District Phra Samut Chedi in Samut Prakan Province

Abstract

          The purposes of the current research 1.) To study level of quality of working life of employees of Sub-district Nai Khlong Bang Pla Kot, District Phra Samut Chedi in Samut Prakan Province 2.) To compare quality of working life of employees of Sub-district Nai Khlong Bang Pla Kot, District Phra Samut Chedi in Samut Prakan Province classified by personal factors. The research model is quantitative research, using the concept based on the Richard E. Walton principle as the research framework. The sample group used in this research was 170 employees of Sub-district Nai Khlong Bang Pla Kot by using questionnaires as a research tool. Data were analyzed by using percentage, mean and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested using independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA and Fisher's Least Significance Difference (LSD) method.     

         The research revealed quality of working life of employees of Sub-district Nai Khlong Bang Pla Kot, District Phra Samut Chedi in Samut Prakan Province in the overall high level Which has an average of 3.77 when considering each side, sorted by the mean from the highest and the lowest mean. The work performance that is beneficial to society had the highest average of 3.96. The average appropriate and fair salary is had the lowest average of 3.28 and the hypothesis test found that different ages and educational levels had an effect on the quality of work life was significantly different at the level of .05 and for the management of the quality of working life of employees of Sub-district Nai Khlong Bang Pla Kot. The institution should encourage personnel to apply the philosophy of sufficiency economy in the organization and extended to the family. In order to have sufficient living expenses to cover income, institutions should listen to the opinions of personnel at all levels. And provide employees with the opportunity to provide opinions to make their work more efficient.
