The Relationship between Work Factors and Stress Level of Cooperative Auditing Department’s Staff, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives

Abstract

          The purpose of this study were 1) to determine the stress level of Cooperative Auditing Department’s staff, 2) to study work and organization factors of Cooperative Auditing Department’s staff, 3) to examine the relationship between work and organization factors and the stress level of Cooperative Auditing Department’s staff, 4) to compare the stress level based on personal factors of Cooperative Auditing Department’s staff. The samples were 190 staff of the Cooperative Auditing Department in Bangkok Metropolis. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA             and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. 

          The results of the data analysis showed that staff of the Cooperative Auditing Department’s staff in Bangkok Metropolis had high stress level (44.2%) and level of work and organization at a moderate level (= 3.00). Work and organization factors were correlated with the stress level of Cooperative Auditing Department’s staff. Hypothesis testing results revealed that samples with different age had significantly different level of stress, at the 0.05 significant level.
