This study investigates the welfare state and its political implications, focusing on the We Fair Network’s promotion of social equality and fairness in Thailand. The main goal is to examine welfare state regimes and associated political ideologies to analyze We Fair Network welfare state policies grounded in universal and life cycle welfare principles. The article addresses the functionality of the welfare state movement, including advancing policy proposals, transmitting knowledge to the public, and activist perspectives. The interdisciplinary nature of welfare state studies is also weighed, emphasizing the priority of the policy process and the need to expand policy proposals to mobilize collective power in elite networks while fostering public understanding and engagement.
