Authors interested in submitting a manuscript for publication in the PSDS Journal of Development Studies, Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies, Thammasat University, are advised to carefully review the journal’s general information, publication policies, scope, and author guidelines to ensure full compliance with submission requirements.
After thoroughly reviewing the relevant information, prospective authors are required to register with the journal prior to proceeding. Authors who have already registered may log in to the system and begin the submission process accordingly.
Authors must review and adhere to all submission checklist requirements in the article submission process.
- Manuscripts must be submitted as research or academic articles within the field of social sciences, adopting an interdisciplinary approach. Submissions should address research and/or development practice at the local or urban community level, covering cultural, political, economic, social, educational, or resource management dimensions, including social capital and innovation for human and societal development. The manuscript must not exceed 30 A4 pages.
- Both research articles and academic articles must clearly articulate the "new knowledge" generated from the research or derived from the synthesis and scholarly analysis presented in the manuscript.
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format, using TH Sarabun New font for both Thai and English text. Formatting must strictly follow the journal’s prescribed template.
- Manuscripts must conform fully to the journal’s prescribed article structure and formatting requirements. Authors are required to use the designated templates for research articles or academic articles, which can be downloaded from the journal’s website.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all citations and references, which must be prepared in accordance with APA 7th edition guidelines.
- Authors must provide their full name, telephone number, email address, and institutional affiliation or contact address. The journal will not disclose telephone numbers or addresses to the public.
- Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or disseminated or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
