Development of learning effectiveness on research methodology in the subject of Introduction to Social Science Research Methodology (2504901) by using instructional package of 4th year students of College of Teacher Education, Phranakhon Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) develop effective instructional package on research methodology in the subject of Introduction to Social Science Research Methodology (2504901) according to the criteria 80/80 2) compare the learning effectiveness of students before and after study by using the instructional package on research methodology in the subject of Introduction to Social Science Research Methodology (2504901)  and 3) study the effectiveness index of the instructional package on research methodology in the subject of Introduction to Social Science Research Methodology (2504901). The population implemented in this research were 24 4^th year students in social study of College of Teacher Education, Phranakhon Rajabhat University, semester 1, academic year 2020. The tools used in the research had 2 types including instructional package and testing materials for learning effectiveness on research methodology created by the research. The research findings were as follows.

1. The effectiveness of instructional package on research methodology in the subject of Introduction to Social Science Research Methodology (2504901) for 4^th year students of College of Teacher Education, Phranakhon Rajabhat University (E₁/ E₂) were at 81.19 and 82.17.
2. The learning effectiveness of 4^th year students of College of Teacher Education, Phranakhon Rajabhat University by using the instructional package on research methodology in the subject of Introduction to Social Science Research Methodology (2504901) after the study was higher than before the study.
3. The analysis result of the effectiveness index of the instructional package on research methodology in the subject of Introduction to Social Science Research Methodology (2504901)  for 4th year students of College of Teacher Education, Phranakhon Rajabhat University was found to have the effectiveness index (E.I.) of 0.6792 which was 67.92%.
