Abstract

This academic article aims to present an analysis of Buddhist and philosophical perspectives on worldly vicissitude and understanding of life in modern society. Which found that the worldly vicissitude is a perspective that has to consider the surrounding environment according to the process of wisdom. In addition, there must be precepts to control behavior, both physically and verbally. That will be able to live in harmony with the surrounding environment without being shaken happy and be free from all suffering, living in modern society especially in the era of globalization, requires patterns and guidelines as a standpoint in order to avoid going astray. Therefore, the worldly vicissitude are the principles of the Dharma, and another essential tool for promoting a happy life. The study of the world vicissitude explanation used as a framework for living in modern society has therefore established guidelines as a framework for life. Because no matter what the situation, the worldly vicissitude teaching will teach you to think both of the positive and negative factors, resulting in being able to live happily in modern society, helping the society around us to be happy, and coexist in friendship with each other.
