A Need Assessment to Develop Educational Leadership 4.0 of Administrators in Private Higher Education Institutions in Khon Kaen Province

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study an assessment needed to develop educational leadership 4.0 of the administrators in private higher education institutions in Khon Kaen Province. The samples were 186 people consisting of administrators and lecturers of private institution of higher education administrators in Khon Kaen Province. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire with a 5-level rating scale which had a reliability of 0.91. The statistics used to analyze the data comprised mean, Standard Deviation and modified priority needs index.

The research results were revealed that: The assessment needed to develop educational leadership 4.0 arranged by descending order was as follows: authenticity leadership, transformational leadership, creative leadership, and innovative leadership. 1) The assessments needed to develop the authenticity leadership arranged by descending order were internalized moral perspective, relational transparency, self-awareness, and balanced processing. 2) The assessments needed to develop the transformational leadership arranged by descending order were the individualized consideration and inspiration motivation. 3) The assessment needed to develop the creative leadership was a flexibility and 4) The assessments needed to develop the innovative leadership arranged by descending order were skills and roles.
