The Factors and Importance Ranking of Factors that Affect on Learning Achievement of Physics : A Case Study of Undergraduate Students at Dhurakij Pundit University

This research aims to study the undergraduate students, instructors and administrator’s opinion at Dhurakij Pundit University concerning the factors that affect on learning achievement of Physics and the importance ranking of those factors.
There were 348 participants in this study including undergraduate students, instructors, and administrators from Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Liberal Art and Science Technology at Dhurakij Pundit University during academic year 2009. The method used for sampling was non-proportional stratified random sampling. The data collection included five rating scale and open-ended questionnaire regarding to thefactors that affect on learning achievement of Physics and the importance ranking of those factors.
The results are consistently shown that undergraduate students, instructors and administrators are aware of similar factors. Ranking important factors that affect on learning achievement of Physics are 1) extracurricular activities, 2) undergraduate students, 3) administrative, 4) environment, and 5) facility and curriculum respectively.
