This paper aims to investigate the performance of WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) in aspect of blocking probability for channel resources when cell size is consid- ered. By using the novel Packet Duplicated Handoff (PDH) controlled with both Mobile station velocity and Advertisement period of access point based on PDH_MA the results show that the proposed method consisting of PDH_MA and traffic engineering theory can reduce channel resource blocking probability in the system when the cell size is assigned to be smaller while the mobile station velocity is higher.
