THE STUDY OF AN APPROACH TO DEVELOP A PROCESS OF ADMINISTRATION HUMAN RESOURCE INFORMATION:FACULTY OF DENTISTRY MAHIDOL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study human resource information management of Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, 2) to study exposure to information among personnel of Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, 3) to analyze and identify conditions relating to the successful human resource information management, and 4) to propose the model of human resource information management to be applied for human resource department. This research was qualitative research. The samples used in the study were 9 personnel of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University. The sample selection was done by Purposeful Sampling (Maxwell, 1998 as cited in Chai Pothisita, 2009, p. 128). The methodology used in the study was in-depth interview. Data were interpreted via Content Analysis, and integrated with secondary data, then presented by a descriptive analysis.

The results of this research found that 1) data management processes of human resource work was the management as order by the policy, with the aim for policy and strategy of the organization, 2) personal behaviors as paying attention to internal information were different, 3) bringing modern management concepts and management to proactively deploy, and 4) model and direction of data management process development was the proactive emphasis on complete information agency, and more creation of understanding the development of communication for personnel. The leadership was a factor leading to the development and reduce the risk of not-recognizing any self-related information as well.
