The Development of Multimedia Electronic Book in English for Study Skills Subject of Students at Dhonburi Rajabhat University Samutprakarn

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to: study the efficiency of Multimedia Electronic Book in English for Study Skills Subject of students at Dhonburi Rajabhat University Samutprakarn, study the learning achievement of students in English for Study Skills Subject before and after studying and study students’ satisfaction on studying in English for Study Skills Subject through of Multimedia Electronic Book. The sample used in this study consisted of 40 undergraduates who were studying English for Study Skills Subject by using a purposive sampling. The instruments used in the experiments in this research were: multimedia Electronic Book, learning achievement test and the questionnaire of students’ satisfaction. The statistics used were efficiency index, t-test, mean, percentage, standard deviation, reliability, discrimination, difficulty, and validity. The research findings were found: the results of the efficiency of Multimedia Electronic Book in English were higher than a defined criterion 82.13/82.50.
The results of comparing scores in the learning achievement revealed that the posttest scores in English for Study Skills Subject were higher than those of pretest. The average pretest score in learning achievement pretest was 11.65 and the standard deviation was 2.05; on the contrary, the average posttest score was 24.75 and the standard deviation was 1.92. The satisfaction of the students who were studying in English through Multimedia Electronic Book showed that they were satisfied at a good level; as a results, learning achievement of students was higher.
