Knowledge and understanding about preparation of household accounts of the Villagers of Phon Charoen Community Kong Sub-district, Ban Kong Kailas District, Sukhothai Province

Abstract

          This research has the objectives to study the level of knowledge and understanding in preparation of the household accounting of villagers at Phon Charoen Community, Kong Sub-district, Ban Kong Kailas District, Sukhothai Province. The population studied are the 134 villagers (kongkrilat.sukhothai.doae.go.th.) The research tool is to apply questionnaires on bookkeeping knowledge. The statistics used for data analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research result shows that, the samples 85 villagers are male counted for 63.43%, and 49 are female represented 36.57%, 46 villagers aged 42-49 years counted for 34.33%, followed by 32 villagers age 34-41 years counted for 23.88%, then 27 villagers aged between 50-60 years or 20.15%, 17 villagers aged between 26-33 years represented 12.69% and 12 villagers aged 18-25 years represented 8.96%, respectively. The analysis result shows that 1. Knowledge and 2. Ability and experience, the overall is at high level ( =  4.16 , S.D. = 0.778). When considering each aspect, it found that the cognitive level is at the highest level ( = 4.1, S.D. = 0.767), followed by the ability and experience at a high level ( = 4.15, S.D. = 0.789), respectively.
